Voice reflection and writing reflections

Both voice and writing can work in Mendro. The right choice depends on how you think best in the moment.

Updated on March 15, 2026

Mendro supports both voice and writing because reflection does not always begin in the same form.

When voice can help

Voice reflection can be useful when thoughts are moving quickly, when typing feels too slow, or when speaking feels more natural than writing. It is often the easier option when you want to capture something before it fades.

When writing can help

Writing can be better when you want precision, slower pacing, or a stronger sense of control over wording.

There is no single correct mode

The best format is the one that helps you become more honest and more clear. Some sessions begin with voice and become clearer later in written form. Others work best as quiet writing from the start.

If voice input is not working on your phone, check that Mendro has microphone permission in your device settings.
