Problems with microphone access

If voice reflection is not working, microphone permissions and device settings are the first things to check.

If microphone access is not working, the issue is usually related to device permissions, another app using the microphone, or the wrong audio device being active.

First things to check

  • confirm that Mendro has microphone permission in your phone settings
  • fully close and reopen the app after granting permission
  • check whether Bluetooth headphones or another connected device are using the microphone instead
  • make sure no other app is actively recording audio in the background

If the problem continues

Restart your phone and check that both the Mendro app and your operating system are up to date. If voice still does not work, contact support with your device model, operating system version, Mendro app version, and a short description of what happened.

A quick way to narrow it down

If the microphone works in other apps but not in Mendro, include that detail in your support message. It helps narrow the issue down faster.
